I am 11 years old and I want to start shaving my legs. Since I have dark hair, it is more obvious on me than on my friends who are blonde. How do you think I should tell my mom that I want to start shaving? Do you think I am too young? Thanks, Mary
I would wear pants all the time or just tell your mom do you think I should shave because i have dark hair and do you think it shows? If you think thats embarrasing then ask a close friend!

i dont think you are too young i was 11 when i started shaving. i just told my mom by whispering in her ear and she got a shaver for me, so just go tell your mom if you have older sisters or brothers just whisper it to her!!

i dont think your to young i am younger than you and i already shave just tell your mom a short lecture of how you feel about shaving or just come out strong hope my advice helps

Hey Mary,
Yes you are too young to shave but you should try Veet you put it on, its like a cream and then wait like 5 minutes and then there is a rubber thing that comes with it, use that it works really good, for like 3 weeks through a month. You can buy it at Walmart and other stores i use it and im only 10

I think you are too young but if you feel really stroong about this, then tell your mom and let her decide what to do.

I would ask my mom. if you are very close to your mom I am 12 and i don't shave my legs my mom said you should have your period before you shave your legs well try asking your mom and see what she says.

I think you are the right age for shaving legs. Tell your mom you want to start shaving, if she says no, help her with things you normally don't help her with. Then, after a few weeks, ask her again, she just might have the feeling that your ready.

you know, instead of waxing and shaving. when you get older try laser treatment 15 treatmints and the hair is gone for good but start out with shaving. just say to your mom "mom i think i need to start shaving"

Hi Mary. No, you're not too young. I am 13 and I have to. And I just started a few weeks ago because it took me a lot of courage. I had to ask my baby-sitter to take me out to get them since my dad is never home. It was so embarrassing, I suggest you tell your mom before it's too late! Just say, "Mom...this is really embarrassing to tell you...actually I don't want to say it." then she will probably say, "No, it's okay. Tell me." then just say it. Don't be too straight forward with it. And don't be too nervous. Eventually you will need to become more comfortable with your mom. Believe me, she went through the same thing as you, she knows how that feels.

It is okay to want to start shaving but you really need to tell your mom. She knows what your going through. Every girl feels the same way.

well i am 11 to and i indeed do shave my legs!(shhh) You should just talk to your mom and show her why you think you need to shave and then im sure she'll understand because moms are always like that.

i dont think you're too young. you are at the same age i was when i wanted to start. it was hard to build up the courage to tell my mom but i did and i dont regret it. your mom might tell u to wait until u start to wear shorts again which i would if i were u soo try to take my advise.

tell your mom "i need 2 talk 2 u " then tell her that u whant 2 start shaving. thats what i did and i have been shaving at 10 and i am 11 now.

my cousin is 12 she does just simply say this mom i think this hair is more noticeable than my blonde friends and i want to get rid of it can you please buy me something that could make it go away mabie i could shave then tell her you were really nervous to say any thing about it and still are nerous on what she might say that is what my cousin did you shoul too !! :) GOOD LUCK
